The Single Again group will meet at the home of Evelyn Jones Saturday, Aug. 23, at 5:00 p.m.  Bring your favorite salad and come join the fellowship.  Please contact Evelyn for directions to her home.   Hope to see you there!

***THE MEDINA TRUCK***

will be here sometime next week to pick up clothing from the boxes.

Do you know a boy in 1st – 5th grade that likes to have FUN & ADVENTURE?  Cub Scouting provides boys with more than just FUN – it gives them an opportunity for character development, personal achievement and spiritual growth.

We have been given an opportunity to explore the possibility of starting a Cub Scout pack here at Western Heights.  Besides providing a family based program, it will also give us an opportunity for outreach within our community.

There will be an informational meeting for parents on Sunday, August 24 at 4:30 in Room 214.  If you are already involved in Scouting in another Unit, please come and share your insights.

There will be a new class beginning Wednesday night, Sept. 3 in Room 214. Dick Freeman will be teaching a class on Love and Respect.  Come and learn about a truth hidden in plain sight for 2000 years that can make a difference in every marriage.  Singles are welcome, as well as married couples.
